Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. tomatoes with juice (some)
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. each: parsley, oregano, basil, dill, chives and Italian seasoning
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 tsp. salt (kosher)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Add tomatoes, sugar, oil, salt and spices.

3Add flour a little at a time, beating with wooden spoon.

4Knead on floured board for 6 minutes.

5Put in greased pan and cover with plastic wrap for 1 1/2 hours or until doubled. Punch down.

6Shape into loaf and put in greased pans.

7Cover and let raise 30 to 40 minutes in warm place.

8Mix egg with water and brush on top.

9Bake 2 loaves at 400° for 15 minutes, then 350° for 25 minutes.
