  • 12 egg yolks
  • 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) sugar
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1/2 fifth light rum
  • 1 qt. (four 1/2 pt.) heavy cream, stiffly whipped

Directions

    In a blender, beat the egg yolks until light.

    Add the sugar and beat until thick. Stir into a bowl or gallon jug.

    Add the milk and rum. Chill for 3 hours.

    Pour into punch bowl and fold in the whipped cream.

    Chill 1 hour longer.

    Before serving, dust with nutmeg.
