  • 1 (4 1/2 to 6 lb.) chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 whole carrot
  • 3/4 lb. small white onions
  • 1 whole black peppercorn
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 whole clove
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. diagonally sliced, pared carrots
  • all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 2 tsp. poppy seed
  • 1 tsp. instant minced onion
  • 2 c. Bisquick
  • 1 c. milk
