Ingredients

  • 4 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon of baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine (softened)
  • 2 teaspoons of vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • Any herb of your liking

Directions

    Add all dry ingredients and mix well then sift together

    Then mix the vinegar and milk together and let it sit untouched for 10 minutes

    Mix the water in the dry mix and add softened butter and add herbs
  4. 4
    Then add the mix solution (buttermilk) slowly and mix until it is all incorporated

    Set oven to 400' degrees

    Then bake for 40 minutes

    Remove from oven and let it cool to touch.

    Slice as desired and enjoy
