- 1/2 stick margarine
- 3/4 lb. sliced carrots
- 2/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- white pepper to taste
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 c. buttered bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, chopped
Directions

1Cook carrots until just tender.

2Place carrots into buttered casserole.

3Sprinkle raw onions over carrots.

4Spread mayonnaise mixed with lemon juice over carrots and onions; pepper to taste. Add grated Cheddar cheese.

5Top with bread crumbs.

6Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
