  • 14 cup basting oil
  • 8 ounces diced celery
  • 8 ounces diced onions
  • 1 tablespoon herbes de provence
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 32 ounces chicken stock
  • 1 lb stuffing cubes
  • 1 granny smith apple

    heat the oil on medium high.

    add onion and celery and cook for 5 mins.

    add herbs and cook for an additional 3 minutes.

    add butter and stock and bring to a simmer.

    combine with croutons and grated apple.

    add mixture to backing dish.

    back on center rack of oven or 30 mins or until stuffing is browned and cooked through.
