- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler fryer chicken
- 2 Tbsp. margarine/butter plus 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. marjoram
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 2 large cloves
- garlic, finely chopped
Directions

1Cut chicken into pieces, cut each breast half into halves and remove skin.

2Heat butter and oil in 13 x 9-inch pan in 375° oven until melted.

3Stir in remaining ingredients except chicken. Place chicken meat side down in pan, turning to coat with herb mixture.

4Cook uncovered 30 minutes.

5Turn chicken, cook until thickest pieces are done (about 30 minutes, longer).

6Makes 6 to 8 servings.
