  • 1 unsliced loaf (1 lb.) French bread
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic salt

Directions

    Slice bread, but not all the way through, leaving slices attached at the bottom. In a small mixing bowl, cream butter. Add Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano and garlic salt; mix well. Spread between slices. Wrap loaf in a large piece of heavy-duty foil. Bake at 325° for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
