Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. imitation or diet margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp. thyme leaves
- pinch of marjoram leaves
- 8 oz. sliced beef or calves liver
Directions

1Combine margarine and lemon juice in custard cup.

2Put cup in hot water and simmer until margarine melts.

3Add herbs and set aside.

4Sprinkle liver with salt and pepper and put in greased baking dish.

5Broil five inches from source of heat for 3 minutes until liver is browned.

6Turn and brown other side.

7Pour margarine mixture over liver.

8Broil 1 more minute.

9Serve.
