- 1 (17 ounce) packagefrozen ready-to-bake puff pastry, use 1 sheet from package
- 4 ounces cream cheese with garlic and herbs, softened
- 1 egg, beaten with
- 1 teaspoon water
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400.

2Lightly grease a large baking sheet.

3Thaw puff pastry sheet following package directions.

4Unfold and roll out to a 12x10 rectangle on a lightly floured surface.

5Spread with cheese.

6Roll up, jelly-roll fashion from short side.

7With serrated knife, cut into 12 one inch slices.

8Tuck loose end under.

9Place on baking sheet.

10With fingertips flatten each pinwheel slightly.

11Beat egg with water and brush pinwheels.

12Bake 18-20 minutes or until golden.
