Ingredients
- 2 lb. potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. dried chives
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- dash pepper
Directions

1Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender.

2Meanwhile, thoroughly blend cream cheese, 1/4 c. milk, chives and lemon juice and set aside.

3When potatoes are done, drain well.

4Mash with mixer on lowest speed.

5Add remaining milk, butter, garlic salt and pepper.

6Blend in cream cheese mixture.

7Pour into casserole dish and garnish with additional chives and butter.

8Microwave 5 to 10 minutes if serving immediately.

9You may cover with foil and freeze up to 4 weeks.

10Reheat at 350° for 1 hour.
