- 1 c. long grain rice (uncooked)
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can consomme soup or use own beef or chicken soup
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 tsp. each: marjoram, savory and rosemary
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds (optional)
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1Mix all ingredients, except margarine, in a greased casserole. Top with margarine, cover and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Stir when half done.

2Do not overcook, will be too dry.
