Ingredients
- 1 to 2 lb. round steak, cut 3/4-inch thick
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. ground thyme
- 1/3 c. cold water
- 3 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Cut meat in pieces.

2Sprinkle with salts and pepper.

3Roll in flour and brown both sides in hot oil.

4Drain and place in crock-pot.

5Cook onion in reserved drippings.

6Spoon over meat. Mix celery soup and spices.

7Spoon mixture over steak and cook until tender.

8When tender, mix flour with cold water and add to mixture to thicken gravy.

9Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
