  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • ground nutmeg

    Bake unpricked pastry shell at 450F for 5 minutes.

    Remove from oven; reduce oven temperature to 350F Meanwhile, beat together apple concentrate, eggs, sugar, butter, and salt.

    Pour into pastry shell.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake at 350F till knife inserted just off center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.
