  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 8 small Hershey bars
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk, mixed with 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Melt together oleo and Hershey bars.

    Add sugar and eggs (one at a time).

    Stir in buttermilk mixture.

    Add flour, flavoring and nuts.

    Beat well and bake in a tube cake pan at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
