  • 8 Hershey bars, melted in double boiler
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 (5 1/2 oz.) Hershey syrup
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 small jar cherries (maraschino)

    Melt Hershey bars; set aside.

    Cream margarine, sugar and eggs; add melted Hershey bars, buttermilk, flour, soda, salt, Hershey syrup and vanilla.

    Beat well.

    Add pecans and cherries (cut in small pieces).

    Mix well.

    Bake in Bundt pan at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
