- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda (mix with flour)
- 6 small plain chocolate bars
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 large can chocolate syrup
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Melt chocolate bars in the chocolate syrup in double boiler. Cream sugar and margarine.

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Add melted chocolate, then flour and milk alternately.

4Bake 1 1/2 hours in a tube pan or Bundt pan, which has been lightly greased and floured, at 300°.

5Test with toothpick to determine when done.

6Use chocolate icing or lightly sprinkle with powdered sugar.
