Hershey Bar Pound Cake

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (5 1/2 oz.) can Hershey's syrup
  • 2 1/2 c. cake flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 6 Hershey bars, melted
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Mix butter and sugar together.

    Add eggs and blend.

    Blend in Hershey's syrup.

    Mix dry ingredients (cake flour, salt and baking soda) together.

    Add half of the dry ingredients and half of the buttermilk into mixture.

    Mix well.

    Add remaining half of dry ingredients, buttermilk, nuts, vanilla and Hershey bars.

    Blend well.

    Grease and flour a large tube pan.

    Bake at 325° for one hour to one hour and 15 minutes.
