  • 1 small can chocolate syrup
  • 2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
  • 2 c. stick butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 1 c. pecans

    Melt candy in syrup in a double boiler; cool.

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs one at a time; add to chocolate mixture.
