Hershey Chocolate Nut Cake

- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 giant size Hershey bar (4 oz.)
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
Directions

1Sift flour; cream sugar and margarine until light and fluffy, adding eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

2Melt Hershey bar on low heat (this will be rather thick).

3Add to creamed mixture, blending well.

4Add flour alternately with buttermilk which has soda dissolved in it and flavorings; blend well.

5Add 1 cup chopped nuts.

6Pour into greased and floured stem pan.

7Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
