- 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 egg whites, lightly beaten
- 2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
- 1 tsp. grated orange zest
- 1 Tbsp. orange juice
- 1 large orange
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Sift dry ingredients and mix.

3Combine egg whites, yolks, orange zest and orange juice.

4Add to dry mixture. Set aside for 20 to 30 minutes.

5Lightly grease a baking sheet and mark 5-inch circles on the surface.

6Drop a spoonful of batter in each circle.

7Spread evenly to cover the area.

8Prepare and bake only one sheet at a time. Bake until the edges are a light brown, but the center is soft (5 to 6 minutes). Quickly remove cookies from the pan with a spatula.

9Mold cookies around orange to create cupped shapes.

10Once shaped, cool on rack.

11Fill with fresh fruit, ice cream or pudding.
