- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. chopped hickory nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pastry for 9-inch pie
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Combine sugar, syrup and butter in 2-quart saucepan.

3Bring to boil on high, stirring constantly, until butter is melted.

4Remove from stove and gradually add hot syrup to eggs; stir all the while.

5Add hickory nuts to mixture and cool to lukewarm.

6Add vanilla.

7Pour into pie shell and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.

8Serves 6 to 8.
