  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • dash salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips

    Mix cake mix according to package directions.

    Fill cupcake holders 2/3 full.

    (I put cupcake liners in the muffin pan.)

    Beat cream cheese with sugar until creamy.

    Beat in salt and egg.

    Stir in chocolate chips.

    Drop 1 rounded teaspoonful into center of each cupcake.

    Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
