Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger meat (optional 1/2 lb. hamburger meat and 1/2 lb. cubed stew beef, 1/2-inch cubes)
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1 large onion, chopped (optional 1 large green pepper, chopped)
  • 1 c. mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) can light red kidney beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can black beans
  • 6 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp. herb seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 Tbsp. French's mustard
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce (any style)
  • 1/2 tsp. Texas Pete
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar

Directions

    Brown the hamburger and sausage in a skillet; drain grease. Brown onion, mushrooms and green pepper in butter.

    Put all the ingredients into a large crock-pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, on high for 3 to 4 hours.

    Stir every hour. Serve and enjoy!
