- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 c. Crisco
- 4 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Mix pastry as usual.

2Work dough into a firm ball. Divide pastry in half.

3On lightly floured surface, roll 1/2 into about 10-inch square. Cut into four 5-inch squares or circles.

4Repeat with other half of dough, after filling the first 4.

5I like to cook dried fruit until tender, sweeten to taste and use enough water to keep from sticking. Fry in about 1-inch of Crisco on medium heat, turning once.
