  • 3/4 cup vegetable shortening
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius

    Mix the corn flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

    Cream the shortening and butter until soft, add the sugar and beat until fluffy. Add the egg and beat. Slowly add the flour mixture, beat until smooth.

    Make dough balls and place on baking sheets lined with parchment with a 2-centimeter separation between. Press down with a fork to create lines.

    Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown on the edges.
