- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup vegetable shortening
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius

2Mix the corn flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

3Cream the shortening and butter until soft, add the sugar and beat until fluffy. Add the egg and beat. Slowly add the flour mixture, beat until smooth.

4Make dough balls and place on baking sheets lined with parchment with a 2-centimeter separation between. Press down with a fork to create lines.

5Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown on the edges.

6Meanwhile, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the coating.

7Take the cookies out of the oven and sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon while still warm.

8Allow the cookies cool and serve.
