- 5 c. sliced carrots (1/2-inch slices)
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/8 tsp. salt (if desired)
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. sliced green or ripe olives
Directions

1Combine carrots and water in 1 1/2-quart microwave-safe casserole.

2Cover with casserole lid.

3Microwave on High 12 to 14 minutes or until carrots are just about tender, stirring once. Drain.

4Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly to coat evenly. Makes about 10 servings, 65 calories each.
