- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. cottage cheese (small curd)
- 1 tsp. instant onion
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Soak yeast in lukewarm water.

2Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm.

3Add sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg and yeast mixture.

4Add flour to make a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.

5Knead, then cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 50 to 60 minutes.

6Stir down; turn into a well-greased 1 1/2-quart round 8-inch casserole dish and let rise in warm place about 30 minutes or slightly more.

7Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
