- 16 graham crackers
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. raisins
- 1/2 lb. mixed fruit, peeled
- 1 c. walnuts (optional)
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Roll crackers into fine crumbs.

2Mix with salt and baking powder.

3Add fruit and nuts.

4Beat eggs and sugar; add the 2 mixtures together.

5Blend thoroughly.

6Spread into a 7 x 11-inch well greased shallow pan.

7Bake 20 to 25 minutes; cut into bars. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

8These will keep weeks in a tightly covered can.

9I always put a teaspoon of rum flavoring in mix.
