  • 1 1/3 c. (about 7 oz.) whole almonds
  • 1 1/4 c. (about 5 oz.) pecan halves
  • 1 c. (about 4 oz.) walnut halves
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    In a large bowl, toss nuts with oil. In a small bowl, combine all spices except salt.

    Add the spices to nuts, tossing nuts to cover evenly with spices.

    Spread the nuts on a baking sheet in a single layer.

    Bake for 10 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with salt.
