  • 2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 5 large eggs
  • 2 c. cake flour

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs and beat.

    Add flour and beat well.

    Add nuts and fruit to mixture.

    Stir with a spoon. Grease a cake pan.

    Pour batter in and bake at 250 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
