  • 1-3/4 cups prepared royal icing, divided
  • blue, red and yellow gel food colorings
  • 24 PLANTERS Dry Roasted Unsalted Peanuts
  • 24 JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

    Reserve 1/4 cup icing; cover tightly and reserve for later use.

    Spoon 1/2-cup portions of remaining icing into 3 separate bowls.

    Tint with food colorings as desired to create 3 different shades.

    Use plastic forks to dip nuts, 1 at a time, into tinted icings, letting excess icing drip off nuts before placing in single layer on wire rack.

    Let stand 6 hours or until icing is firm.

    Thread large needle with string; use to pierce through marshmallows.

    Attach nuts to marshmallows with reserved icing to resemble strand of holiday lights.

    Place in shallow pan; let stand 2 hours or until icing is firm.
