- 2 c. margarine (soft)
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 6 eggs
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 4 c. chopped pecans
- 3 Tbsp. instant coffee, dissolved in 3 Tbsp. hot water
Directions

1Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.

2Grease bottom of 10-inch tube pan.

3Separate eggs; beat yolks well.

4Beat whites until stiff.

5In large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar.

6Add beaten egg yolks, mixing well.

7Combine milk, vanilla and dissolved coffee.

8Add alternately with dry ingredients.

9Fold in egg whites and pecans.

10Pour into pan and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.

11Let cool in pan.
