- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- margarine
- 3 lb. butternut squash
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup maple syrup
Directions

1In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice and salt.

2Cut in butter until crumbly.

3Peel squash.

4Cut into 1/2-inch slices, removing seeds when necessary.

5Put a third of the squash slices in a greased 11x7x2-inch baking dish.

6Sprinkle with 3/4 cup crumb mixture.

7Layer the remaining squash on top, overlapping when necessary.

8Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.

9Top with pecans.

10Drizzle with maple syrup.

11Cover with foil.

12Bake at 350F for 1 hour.

13Remove foil and bake for 10 minutes longer, or until squash is done.
