- 2 lb. navy beans, soaked overnight
- 1 ham bone (leave some ham on it)
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. dark syrup
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1 small onion, diced
- few drops of Kitchen Bouquet
- 2 Tbsp. ham juice
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. prepared mustard
- salt and fresh ground pepper
Directions

1Rinse beans well, cover with water and cook until tender; do not drain.

2Add remaining ingredients.

3Bake at 350° for one hour. Turn down heat to 250° and bake an additional 3 to 4 hours or until done.
