- 1/2 cups Cocoa Powder
- 1 cup Water
- 1- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Directions

1Run the cocoa powder through a sifter to remove any lumps.

2Add to a medium sauce pan with the water and whisk over medium heat to incorporate.

3Add in the sugar and stir to dissolve.

4Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat and stir like your life depends on it ... ok, like your clean kitchen depends on it for 3 minutes.

5Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the salt and vanilla.

6Allow the syrup to cool before transferring it to a clean glass jar.

7Store in your fridge, itll keep for several months.

8Alternatively, you can add in a small amount of mint extract for a chocolate-mint syrup.
