  • 5 lb. good hamburger
  • 5 tsp. Morton Tender Quick curing salt
  • 5 tsp. black cracked pepper
  • 5 tsp. garlic salt
  • 5 tsp. mustard seed

    Mix well.

    Refrigerate in covered bowl for 3 days.

    Mix daily. On fourth day, shape into 5 logs.

    Place on broiler pan.

    Bake at 160° for 8 hours.

    Wrap in Saran and foil.

    Keeps in refrigerator a month or can be frozen indefinitely.

    Slice to serve.
