- 2 c. Aunt Martha's self-rising flour
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Sift flour; cut in shortening with fork until crumbly.

2Mix in milk until very moist.

3Knead only enough to form small rolls. Roll in palm of hand and press.

4Will make perfect circles.

5Grease bottom of pan well.

6Preheat oven to 450°.

7Bake until lightly browned on bottom, then broil until golden brown on top.

8Makes 12 to 15 biscuits.
