Ingredients
- 5 to 6 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c. water
- dash of salt
Directions

1Grease pan with butter or oil.

2In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, sugar, salt and yeast.

3Combine milk, water and butter in a saucepan.

4Heat over low heat until liquid is very warm (120° to 130°).

5Butter doesn't need to melt.

6Gradually add dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed on electric mixer or use hands. Add eggs and 3/4 cup of flour.

7Beat at high speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.

8Stir in enough additional flour to make a stiff dough.

9Turn out onto table.

10Cover with hot towel. Let raise 20 minutes or more.

11Bake at 350° until done.

12Brush butter over rolls.

13Serve hot or warm.
