Ingredients

  • 1/2 whole Yellow Or Sweet Onion
  • 1 whole Jalapeno, Seeds And Membrane Removed
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes (15oz)
  • 1/4 cups Fresh Cilantro
  • 1/2 whole Lime, Juiced
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt (or More, Up To 1/2 Tsp, To Taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoons Cumin

Directions

    Cut onion and jalapeno into large chunks and cut the garlic clove in half.

    Place in food processor and pulse a couple times, until roughly chopped.

    Add tomatoes (including liquid), cilantro, lime juice, salt, and cumin.

    Pulse a few times until mixture is combined but still somewhat chunky.

    Do not overmix/liquefy.

    Refrigerate at least one hour before serving (the longer, the better!)

    Serve with tortilla chips.

    Note: for additional heat, you can leave some of the seeds/membrane intact in the jalapeno.
