Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) package pasta (Whichever you like!)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 18-14 cup brown sugar (1/4 c. makes for a sweeter sauce)
  • 12 tablespoon oregano
  • 12 tablespoon basil
  • 14 cup freshly chopped parsley
  • 14 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions

    In a large pot boiling water, add a pinch of salt for flavor & add pasta.

    Cook according to package directions.

    Drain & set aside.

    While pasta is cooking, in a large skillet add oil.

    Once oil is hot, add ground beef, onions, garlic & green peppers.

    Cook until ground beef & cooked thoroughly & onions are translucent.

    Drain.

    Add ground beef mixture back into skillet & add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, chicken bouillon cubes, oregano, basil & brown sugar.

    Stir.

    Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

    Reduce to med.

    heat to bring the sauce to a simmer; cover with a lid & stir occasionally for about 10 minutes.

    On a large platter, place pasta & then top with spaghetti sauce.

    Top with grated parmesan cheese & parsley.

    Serve with a salad & garlic bread.
