Homemade Tahini Paste

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sesame Seeds
  • 1/4 cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 pinch Salt

Directions

    Toast the sesame seeds in a medium non-stick skillet over medium heat until lightly toasted, about 5 minutes, stirring frequently (watch out, they burn easily). Remove the sesame seeds to a blender (I used my mini-chop food processor). Add the olive oil and a pinch of salt. Blend until creamy. Store in the refrigerator.
