Ingredients: 1/2 c. shortening; 3/4 c. sugar; 1/2 c. honey; 2 eggs; 1/4 c. dairy sour cream; 2 c. all-purpose flour; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1 tsp. salt; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1/2 tsp. powdered cloves; 1/2 tsp. nutmeg; 1 1/2 c. finely chopped apples

1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. honey
2 eggs
1/4 c. dairy sour cream
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. powdered cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. finely chopped apples

Cream shortening and sugar.

Beat in honey.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir in sour cream. Mix and sift flour, baking soda, salt and spices; stir in and blend well.

Stir in apples.

Drop by teaspoon 3 inches apart on greased baking sheet.

Bake at 350° for about 15 minutes or until edges are brown.
