- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. bran
- 2/3 c. honey
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 to 3 c. unbleached whole flour
Directions

1Combine oil, boiling water, bran, honey and salt.

2Stir to blend; cool to lukewarm.

3Add yeast which has been softened in lukewarm water.

4Add flour gradually to make soft dough.

5Knead until smooth and satiny.

6Let rise to double in bulk (about 1 1/2 hours).

7Grease hands well (dough is very sticky); form into rolls.

8Drop from spoon if using muffin tins.

9Let rise 35 to 40 minutes.

10Bake 25 to 40 minutes at 375°.
