  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. honey
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Grease a 9-inch square pan.

    Cream butter and sugar in a small mixer bowl; blend in honey and vanilla.

    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Combine flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.

    Stir in nuts.

    Pour into pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from edge of pan.

    Cool in pan (top with frosting, if desired).
