- 8 c. old-fashioned rolled oats (uncooked)
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. wheat germ (toasted or untoasted)
- 3 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 c. honey or 2/3 c. honey plus 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- raisins, dates and nuts (optional)
Directions

1Combine oats, coconut, wheat germ and cinnamon in a large bowl. Combine honey, vegetable oil and vanilla with a wire whisk, then stir into dry ingredients.

2Spread in greased large, shallow baking pan.

3Bake at 350° for 25 minutes, stirring often.

4Cool thoroughly, stirring occasionally.

5Add optional ingredients as desired.

6Store in cool dry place.
