- 3 to 4 lb. smoked ham (pork shoulder)
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. honey

1Cut meat off bone.

2Use 12 ounces.

3Steam 30 minutes.

4Cool. Remove skin; cut off fat.

5Slice into small pieces (2 or 3 inches round).

6Steam again, 30 minutes.

7Remove juices. Boil water.

8Add sugar and ham.

9Stir 1 to 2 minutes until sugar dissolves and bubbles appear.

10Add honey until mixture is complete, about 30 seconds.
