Ingredients

  • 1 cup Self-Rising Flour
  • 1 block (8 Oz. Block) Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 stick Salted Butter, Softened

Directions

  1. 1
Preheat oven to 350 F. Make sure butter and cream cheese are very soft (I usually zap them in the microwave for a few seconds until the butter is about 50% liquid.)
  2. 2
Mix all three ingredients together in a medium sized bowl. The mixture will be gooey. Spoon scoops of the mixture into a mini muffin pan (recipe makes roughly 36).
  3. 3
Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes or until golden brown. The muffins are so buttery they literally melt in your mouth!

    Notes:
  5. 5
    - Make sure to use self-rising flour.
  6. 6
    - I have tried using reduced fat and fat free cream cheese to lower the fat/calorie content and they really don't turn out the same. I say if you are going to make these, go ahead and allow yourself the calorie splurge!
