Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp. steak sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans sliced pineapple, drained
  • 8 slices Colby or Cheddar cheese
  • 8 buns

Directions

    In a large bowl, combine beef, eggs, onion, steak sauce, salt and pepper; mix well.

    Shape into 8 patties at least as large as pineapple slices.

    Grill patties on barbecue grill.

    After first side is cooked, turn, place 1 pineapple slice on each burger and top each with one slice of cheese.

    Finish cooking.

    Serve on buns. Makes eight 1/4-pound burgers.
