- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. steak sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 (8 oz.) cans sliced pineapple, drained
- 8 slices Colby or Cheddar cheese
- 8 buns
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine beef, eggs, onion, steak sauce, salt and pepper; mix well.

2Shape into 8 patties at least as large as pineapple slices.

3Grill patties on barbecue grill.

4After first side is cooked, turn, place 1 pineapple slice on each burger and top each with one slice of cheese.

5Finish cooking.

6Serve on buns. Makes eight 1/4-pound burgers.
