  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can lima beans
  • 1 can red beans
  • 1 can pork and beans
  • 1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 medium onions, diced
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 the fat from bacon

Directions

    Drain all beans except pork and beans.

    Saute onions in bacon fat.

    Add vinegar and brown sugar.

    Cook slowly about 20 minutes. Add beans and bacon.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour uncovered, stirring occasionally.

    Cover and refrigerate for 3 days.

    Reheat until hot.
